wirral

The death of one of the worlds greatest footballers has been announced this morning.

I never saw him play myself except on film but of his generation he was probably second only to Pele.

RIP

The 'Ronaldo' of his day, one of the most iconic names in Football. The little I've seen of him on film confirmed to me that his reputation was well founded.

Football has lost one of it's greats.

He'd been ill for the last couple of years, but still young at 71. Great shame.

Second only to Pele is as accurate as I can think of as well. Maradonna not fit to lace up the boots of either player. RIP Eusebio, one of the greatest players of all time.

Truro

733 goals in 745 games

What would he be worth at todays prices?

Every time I saw him on TV or in the media he was smiling.

We saw him when he was a guest at Old Trafford when United played Benfica in pre season friendly and he came onto the pitch with Sir Bobby to thunderous applause.

Yes, one of the truly great players

"Mara...who?

Santa Maradona. "

I was trying to convey my disdain for the man.
