Hey folks... Im not a designer type person at all. I need some advise on who does baby wear..Friend's of mine have just brought their surrogate baby back from USA and I am Great Aunt Cinnamon. grins widely..

I have over the last few days been buying up ebay ..

A fabulous black Ted Baker dress a stunning DIOR silk dress and coat ( ohhh its so beautiful ) and two Monsoon silk and one linen dress. I will never be a Grandma so this is my chance to spoil a baby

I know I have to stop now but can anyone tell me other designer names that are popular for baby wear ?

There are some fabulous things for sale I can hardly believe it. thanks for your help

Does it have to be a top designer?

If not Debenhams have baby clothes by John Rocha, Conran, M.Williamson.

High Street wise ~ Zara are very stylish.

Not designer but baby gap, next and debenhams are all considered quality by the yummy mummy's. Most mums I know (myself included) don't spend much on clothes as they grow out of them in a matter of months.

But you could spend a bit more on a lovely gro bag or two (even get one made specially for grandchild?) or a quality/bespoke cuddle blanket. My friend got both my boys gorgeous snuggle blankets from john lewis. My oldest is three and it's his favourite thing in the world

Ralph Lauren have a fair bit , I see your in the south east , close to Portsmouth ? Gun wharf quays has a Ralph outlet and the baby stuff in there is very reasonable indeed.
