I dont drink the stuff either way but just curious what ages you all gained your thirst for these drinks?

Im only asking after a friend of mine gave her 3yr old a cup of tea (cooled btw) but i still wasnt sure of her choice of drink

Tea (as coffee) contains caffeine - stimulants not suitable for children. mine never had those until they were 14 or 15 (they did not have coca cola either except on special occasions) and tbh they did not miss it.

I can't remember when I first drank tea probably about 9 or 10. I clearly recall my first cup of coffee I was 11 and madly in love with the boy next door who was 16, his mum let me clear her cupboard under the sink out for some sort of bob-a-job type thing and "HE" was there, his mum offered me coffee and thinking I would look like a sophisticated woman of the world I accepted . Luckily she sugared it heavily and I was able to drink it with out flinching....I don't think he noticed me in my tartan dress and green eyeshadow

I don't drink tea or coffee and never have really, not a fan of hot drinks. Also can't be arsed with the boiling of kettle, teabag, milk, sugar, etc, lol.

A nice glass of mineral water or orange juice is easier, quicker and tastes nicer.
