Help! - any sewers out there!!

I need to buy an overlocker but no idea what to get. Prices seem to range from £200-£1300 and I don't know what suits me.

I'm using it occasionally to sew curtains - heavy woven fabric though.

Any advice much appreciated. Thank you.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I thought you meant the type of sewers that run underground and are full of poo and rats.

Depends on how heavy the fabric is. Use a decent needle. Would it be worth spending a massive amount if you'll only use it occasionally?
