Face pictures (for when you do show/recieve them)

Im a fairly lively, chirpy, happy go lucky kinda lass. Upbeat and pretty much always smiling yet i have difficulties showing this in a picture. Although i do have the odd moody shot i still hope my pictures show an extent of my personality. Even if it is just a hint of cheekiness

When ive received pictures from men they are very very straight faced and express no kinda emotion what so ever and this infact turns me off.. Even if their posts/messages read as upbeat and funny.

Just wondering what people would generally like to see.

I'm guilty for this absolutely hate taking pics of myself and if I show any sort of attempt at an emotion it just looks fake and a little creepy!

you dont have to have like a full on cheesey grin though, just a little glint in the eye something to make a guy likeable and less serial murderer lol

I find it hard to smile on camera unless I'm laughing and it's a right bugger to tickle yourself and take a picture.

You've got the advantage of having a cute, expressive face... You're lovely looking and photogenic too. Not everyone has the same fortune - some people just don't photograph well so resort to the moody shot.

I'm sure I've done that ...though some say my eyes are expressive.

Eyes and a smile are important....and probably what my hormones and brain chemistry relies on when assessing how attractive I find someone ...

just tried to view your pics and cant (think the sites having a glitch and galleries are down) but yours still show a hint of naughtiness even though they are straight faced and serious. So its still injecting personality xx

as an official ugly bugger I do my very best to stay on the right side of a camera , mindy on the other hand is very photogenic so has no problem posing , but thats because she's a tart and loves to show off

ok so how do u feel when you receive the straight/moody pics?

perhaps im just fussy then, i just like to see expressive open characters. Its frustrating when if i talk to someone on the phone and can hear a person and u know a part of their personality and u just sense they are smiling yet u cant see it.

excuse my rambles,, i know what i mean lol

My face looks terrible in pics. If I smile I just look like the poster girl for the before section of a mental institute. Apparently I look much better in person, but that endorsement's a bit like a hotel review, which says not as terrible as our last visit

even though u may not be 100% happy with the pics you still send them. Is this because you feel that its important to convey who u are with an injection of visual personality?

Not really, I think everyone knows I'm a nut job already from my profile and posts. It's just that with CD's there is such a HUGE variety and I think it's important for people to see my face so they know that I've not got stubble, appalling make up and so on. If I'm walking up someone's street, they've got to be confident that I won't get immediately clocked by everyone as a tranny. Hence a face pic.

I like a smile, doesn't have to be cheesy but just a smile. A twinkle in the eyes etc.

You do look cheeky in your face pics though, wouldn't say you look grumpy or anything x

Exactly, some just scare me off. they might be gorgeous in person but if they look like they should be on crime watch most wanted I don't want to risk finding out x

I'm sure most are just self concours about their pics as am I but my one I send is a rare pic caught by my daughter of me laughing which I show as that's the image I want to get across.....up for a laugh!!!

However horses for courses as had one fabber ask why I chose that pic as it's awful lol!!!

No I think it's just my natural expression. Had a photo shoot done years ago and my mum went mental and told me to take the pics of Faceache cos it looked like I wanted to shag the photographer.

funny how women look sensual, dominant strong.. yet blokes are serial killers and the images look threatening/unfriendly..

but all the same i just cant 'warm' to them and the convo fizzles quickly
