but going back to the question,, ive actually had lovely useful gifts this year.

previous years ive ended up with a few items that made for ideal raffle prizes in a nursing home

I personally wouldnt sell anything someones bought me. If i didnt like it, i would wait a while and then pass it on to the cancer charity shop.

Titz Towers, North Notts

I was given some horrific slippers, but took them to a family do and asked if anyone wanted them and then gifted them on

i loved all my presents so I wouldn't sell anything. To be honest I wouldn't sell a present, it would make me feel very guilty. Things like bath sets can always get used up and I just tend to keep things that I've been bought for a while and eventually I do have a clear out.

there is a way around the former and the latter, well you just leave it in there and use it to buy off ebay

Can I just do the standard ebay tactic of asking to buy your auction items for ten percent of what they may sell for, in order to do you the great favour of ending your auction once day early??

Ebay does my nut in...!

I've only got small things as gifts that I won't or can't use..

Charity shop or work biscuit tin, or raffle.

Yes but a lot of the charges are when you list the item and if you leave the money in paypal to use online you skip the paypal charges.
