Noticed the past few days that nearly every status update local to me is moaning about being stood up, not getting meets, moaning about allsorts! Right grumpy bunch! Lol. I'm not really looking for meets right now so was just wondering is it the same everywhere??

Time of year? Weather? Do you meet less this time of year than say the summer?? X

I've actually blocked men from my local updates for constantly insulting local women. I dont look too often now as it's the same people saying the same things over and over again, none of it amusing or complimentary.

A lot of moaning on my local updates too. Often see the new member alert shortly followed by a meet today then the next day it's 'doesn't anyone reply on here', shortly followed by the usual timewaster moan then 'I'm off this site's shit'.

I don't bother looking at them. Only updates im interested in are of those on my friends and hotlist - that's why they're on there

I find it useful to see if anyone local has joined (like my cousin for example!) recently, or if anyone that I may of passed by previously for being unverified has recieved a veri amongst other things.

They can be quite interesting. Some peeps are serial moaners, I've seen other updates talking about drugs, threatening to chin someone who has annoyed them and it does help filter out those who you wouldn't like to meet.

My status update is 'bath night

xxx' - I may add a disclaimer that it isn't the only one of the year.
