Rant time!!

I agreed to meet my friends for a country walk, they assumed I know where it is but I don't. I text to say I'm on my way but a bit late & they say 'cool see you there' so after getting lost a few times & waiting on the satnav to pick up my location in the middle of nowhere I arrive 20 mins late after an hour of driving. The cars are there, no sign of my friends, no idea where they went. So I'm doing the walk alone in the rain

Your own fault. Perhaps you should have asked for better directions and made them aware you didn't know the route before the event?

I knew it was lochwinnoch so I went to the place I know...wrong part of the loch. So then called them, no response, finally found the place they were doing the walk but they'd gone on ahead. Satnav took me to the wrong place too. I would have asked for directions but it's an out-of-the-way place & I actually didn't see anyone until I got there. I'm home now. Back to skyrim I guess.
