Did anyone get or give any albums to anyone this year? Not including crap for kids from the chart.

Yeah, I gave a friend CDs by William Onyeabor and Brian Eno.

I got a CD called Peru Maravilloso, which does indeed contain marvellous Peruvian music from the 60s and 70s.

No nothing, tell me have you heard the first track of "the darkness" album "one way ticket to hell"? Wondered if the pipe music was similar.

I was going to ask where the pipes reference came from, then I twigged.

The Peruvian CD doesn't have any panpipes on it. It's mambo, salsa and cumbia style music. I'm not really into panpipes.
