sense of humour? Is it.. jokes or sit coms, sarcasm or slapstick, subtle or "in-your-face"?

What about different regions, nationalities and their sense of humour, do we, can we appreciate them?

My favourite kind of humour is the one where people observe everyday situations and tell them from a funny point of view. Thats why i like peter kay. Two of his sketches i watch on youtube frequently cause they just make me piss myself everytime are the ones where hes talking about the chairs round the table at christmas(odd chairs) and the party/wedding dance floor dances

I like dry humour, or sarcasm. Something with a hint of intelligence behind it.

I like The League of Gentlemen and the incompetent vet who killed off all the pets he treated.

I liked Heidi Hi

This life - (the Amy Jenkings series with 20-something lawyers Miles, Milly, Egg and Anna)

Love the movies Little Miss Sunshine, Thelma and Louise, Secrets & Lies, Muriel's Wedding and so on....

Personally, I like old fashioned British comedy such as Fawlty Towers for its innocence, then again I used to love Allo, allo as it mocked several nationalities. I love seeing intelligent guys like Andrew Marr on TV with his dry wit.

Observational humour, subtle humour, humour which works simultaneously at several levels I find great...
