I'm both. I can be quite shy, but given the slightest opening I tend to treat everyone in the room as an audience for a comedy routine.

Think im great at reading a room or senario.. if it needs a boost then i can step up and become more of a comedian, but if there is already a loud character then im more than happy to become a wall flower.
