It is has just hit me, the last 10 years have flown by. I was asked what I was doing NYE 10 years ago if I could remember...

10 years ago I was working at Butlins Minehead, best NYE ever, remember it like it was yesterday but I now feel really old and nostalgic.

Do you remember what you were doing NYE 10 years ago?

Not forthcoming.

Now - NYE 1999, went alone to Oz for family visit over xmas - SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE! Waltzing Matilda sung by a crowd of thousands, brilliant pyrotechnics...

Wonderful experience.

I'd been with my boyfriend (now ex-) for nearly 4 months so I was probably with him. He never wanted to go out for NYE so we were somewhere with him watching television and me being bored.

I was 16 and it was the first time I'd spent new year out with my mates instead of with my family. Saw in the new year in hospital after some dickheads decided to glass my mate twice on each side of his head and as there was a big group of them the bouncers just threw my mate out into the street covered in blood. Worst new year I've had
