The land of grey peas and bacon

I'm going to try this...get an empty jar starting from the 1st jan and on a piece of paper write down anything that upset you...made you laugh a thought etc....then on the 31st December open the jar up and read all the things that have happened over the year

I like the idea . Cus we all hate a diary for when you forget to enter each day.

You only need a sentence each day or as often as you want and when you open them at the end of next year they will all be mixed up and your have to unfold the paper bits ..

Yeah I like the idea ..

I like that idea and I might try it, seeing as I'm starting my weight loss/keep fit plan in the New Year.

Shopping list tomorrow is a very small notebook with tear out pages! Oh and don't forget to write the date on the slips

We did it this year, but only with happy things. Cool things that happened, funny things we said or did, nice places/ days out we had.

Going to open the jar tomorrow and have a read.

I think this idea is great, a therapeutic exercise to write down your thoughts and see how youve developed and problem solved.

As a teenager I kept a diary for 3 years and still have it in my loft. Whenever I've moved and cleared the loft I've read this diary and its fascinating to recall my school days and when i met my first boyfriend at 15.

When I go to pastures new no doubt my boys will read through and get a glimpse of the girl I once was

Make sure the jar is well sealed though, otherwise you'll open it and find 'thought jam'
