I have over one and a half thousand family pics in windows photo gallery on a laptop that I would like to store on a separate hard drive for back up.

I know how to transfer each pic individually but is there a way ican transfer the lot in one go ?

Click on first one then hold the shift key cluck the last one then right click and select copy go to the new destination and click paste

Just copy and paste the folder.

Or goto orginise, select all, then copy, paste into new place

Click on 1 st one then Ctrl A will select them all then right click select copy or cut, then right click in the folder you want then paste, pm if you want any other help

Pick lap top up. Hold over external drive. Shake lap top vigorously whilst looking at bottom of. Do comic roll of eyes and double take if unsuccessful.

For additional comic effect, do this in the hallway next to stairs and arrange for a second person on landing above to shower you with photos just as you roll eyes, do double take and shrug shoulders.
