Ideal age group?

At 31, I'm finding more and more profiles I'm unable to message due to age blocks - I'm too old for those looking for young guys, and too young for those looking for more mature.

This isn't a complaint thread though, it just got me thinking, what would people suggest the sexiest, most attractive age is for men or women? Sure, personality and individual appeal play a huge part, as you do find mature minded youngsters and energetic older folk, but roughly what age would your ideal swinger be?

I state 45-50 on my profile but I have met just under and just over that mark, I am not a cougar so for me the younger end does not appeal, no pun intended

I always used to go for guys younger than me, but that's changing slowly but surely... I wouldn't go for a 21 year old these days not would I go for a 50 year old... But who knows?

Just dropped my limits from 18-65 to 18-45 I have my limits....not meeting much but not sure I would be ok with older...

I will consider men of 25+ and occasionally younger but it's rare that they appeal to me.

Physically younger men are often gorgeous but the mental interest is usually not there.

I'm trying to get past my 50 barrier. There are some hot 50-somethings on here. However, I've also found a lot of men lie and 50-somethings are often actually 60-somethings. That's my parents' age and a step too far for me.

So far it's put me off raising my age limit.

25-35. But I find that a lot of the 25 year olds that message me speak/type/act like 17 year olds and the 35 year olds look 45! So I'm screwed either way (and not in the good sense.

All I want is a 40 year old that looks 28 is that too much to ask???

Interesting post - I did ask a while back if people ever changed their age preferences & filters each year in line with their own age.

After all - if your a year older - so are they!

Or are we all planning on leaving them as they are for the next 20 years and hoping (yeah right!!!) the next generation of fabsters has a thing for older folk?

Think mine is 24-40, however have started talking to some rather sexy 50+ men, and have had a few experiences of men over 40 so who knows, as long as I'm attracted to them and they are happy then so am I x

It does seem to me though, that attractiveness peaks much earlier for women than it does for men - look at 'top 100 sexiest men/women' polls in the media, and most of the women voted for will be in the 20s, whilst the men will usually be in their late 30s-40s.

I'm fairly confident most people use the physical age is actually a way to target a mental age ? Or so it seems from what I read in profiles related to their age boundaries.

With that in kind I haven't bothered with it, mental and physical age in my experience is quite loosely linked. I've always been a bit more mature I assume cause of certain life experiences plus being the oldest sibling. But I meet people older that are like f*****g children! I have friends I don't get sexual with of all ages & why not here.. I base it all on vibe, if we vibe well I don't care about age.

Personally I prefer age and experience over a younger body. Older women are more confident (usually) which oozes sex appeal. I'm not sure if I'm classed as an older woman but I like to think I come across as sexually confident.

If I was looking for a man I'd probably go for 25-55.

Yes, well said. I prefer younger because most people my age just feel too old in vibe for me.

we have around 20-50 ish on ours, but it mostly depends on attitude and how they come across.

found some very immature 30+ year olds, and some seemingly very mature 20+ year olds, so its not really an age thing.

that said, probably around our own ages would be ideal as we would tend to have fairly similar tastes in life then (so 30-45 ideally)

Well, there is no ideal age. But, from what i have seen. The preferred age seems to be around 30. Everyone that i'm usually interested usually look for someone around that age.

We reckon 31-51 as it seems to give the best of both worlds! Although a lot of the guys we've talked to in clubs seem to be at the top end of the spectrum! More than happy to go to the other end

I have set mine as 27-40 because needed to limit mail when I joined.

I have never been with a younger guy before and I did not find many of the guys who messaged me who were over 40 attractive.

However I do keep a look out and will be flexible on this age range if I see something I like
