Pork and egg pie,and pickled onions for Lunch,,the little sweet siverskin onions.

What type of pickles favour your taste buds.i do enjoy piccalilli too but forgot to get some yesterday

Lidl's big pickled onions are bloom'in lush..... So good that the pickling vinegar is worth drinking straight from the jar once all the onions have been munched…

An old friend of mine used to make his own pickled onions. He'd pickle them for a year with several types of chilli and garlic in the vinegar. They were lush, but the after effects were pretty spectacular!!!

Oh blimey yes, I've just had a blast from the past ... my nan used to do them in vinegar with white sugar sprinkled on them ... lovely eaten with white crusty bread and a hunk of red Leicester I seem to recall ... I was so easily pleased in those days !!!
