Looking at getting the other half a new corset or 2. She likes proper full boned ones, tight laced.

Any one recommend any?

If its a surprise for her, you maybe best with a cheap brand...as she would most likely need to be fitted into a corset for it to be a correct fit for ribs and spine length! And for fully boned, it can become expensive!

hmmmm, im liking the sound of a decent one, maybe a day out to get her fitted properly would be a plan.

For quality, one cannot beat Vollers.

Revanche de la femme is another good brand, available from Fairygothmother.

Corset UK's offerings are fine, however, I find them uncomfortable after 2-3 hours, whereas I could wear my Vollers and RDLF for much longer, being shorter length and suit me better.

Wore mine tonight. Quite comfy for a few hours but no longer. Can't remember where I got it but it wasn't very expensive.

Ye can tell cheap plastic boned corsets from real bone corsets...the comfort is very apparent, and the fem should already be accustomed to minimalist breathing techniques of course

If you want a tight-lacing corset go to a specialist and get it fitted properly.

What do you want it made of? Fabric/satin? PVC? Latex? Leather?

I'll also recommend Vollers but depending on what you want, I may have a few other suggestions.

Corsets UK, I have bought about 10 from them and find them all very comfortable. They've been having a huge sale recently so you might still be able to get some bargains. They also have a no quibbles return policy which is handy as you're looking for a present. All you need is her waist size.

If it's tight lacing then I would agree that you/she should get one fitted and made to measure, where you can also have it customised with fabric and colours etc. Mine are all Vollers Extreme design which I get from a really sweet shop in Brighton.

You could try cathouse clothing near Leeds they do mail order or kiku in Manchester and make a trip out of it .corsets uk we have found to be really good and inexpensive depends if you want tight laced or fashion
