Which webcam?

I am looking to buy a webcam. I have never used one before so have no idea what to buy. I will be using it for Skype and possibly for on Fab. What sort of specifications would I need (megapixels etc)? Any help or advice greatly appreciated x

I've got a £5 one from Tesco and it works great. Microsoft.

Most work quite well,even the 3.99 ones on eBay.but normally I use a Logitech webcam,the 9000 range I think,there on eBay s/hand for around 20 pounds.

How old is your laptop/desktop?

If it's under 5 yrs old most have them built in!
