Do cpl's/ladies think guys become incaple of having FUN when they reach 51???

It is amazing how many cpl's/ladies even in there 40's themselves put a max age of 50. Or is it because it is a nice round figure ???

Wonders if thats a reason why there are sooooooooo many 49 yr old guys here

Bloody hope they dont as Mr Mids is 51 and full of fun as far as I am concerned lol

But we do find there is an age bar at 50 so we dont message people with that on even though I am younger.

It's everyone's own choice what age limits they have, upper or lower.

Oh I hope not too as I prefer older men and I know several men on this and other sites who've knocked 10 years of their ages. Sad really as if they meet it'll be obvious they've been telling porkies!

Although I prefer older men every now and then a younger man gets my attention. It has to be said, even though my older playmates are fit, let's be honest, young, firm, taut, hard, energetic flesh is a welcome change !

These 'rejection' threads puzzle me somewhat, it's all part and parcel of swinging...

Some people will want to meet older swingers...some will want to meet younger.

It's not rocket science....it's personal preferences, we all have them.

I have met people for an intial drink and chat that I have decided not to take further, likewise others have decided I am not for them....preference.

I've never encountered any problems being over 50 myself but I am guilty of still having my age limits set as 35-50 on my profile. Personally this is not set in stone and has been blurred at the edges once I meet people and get to know them better.

I think it's as you say, rounding of numbers as a bench mark nothing more.

Must be why we aren’t getting any meets has i (Mr. Tuxi) hit 50 last weekend have to let mrs tuxi no reason is my age and let her change itso i can be 49 y/o again thats not fair i would have liked to be 50 a bit longer

There are regular moans here about guys in particular lying on their profiles, and age is the usual culprit.

However, much of the reason for this is the stupid attitude taken by many that folk are 'over the hill' at 51.

Of course, as with everything else it's up to individuals to set their own limits and boundaries but it is a bit peculiar/coincidental that so many have their upper age limit at 50.

Incredible how people deteriorate over those 2 magical years between 49 and 51!!

well i will be 51 this year and have had some nice responses from people i have met,one even put in a verification that i could be a match for a man half my age in the bedroom or words to that effect

Jane it ain't a rejection thread at all cos no ones rejected me cos I don't mail anyone that has an upper age limit of 50........Simples then.

I appreciate it's a preference thing. It was just an observation

Age is just a number ,

Its attitude what counts.

If you think your an old fart then most people will probably agree.

Think young and project that in how you are then it shouldnt be a problem.

Well most regulars on here no my partner is a lot older than me (67) and i wouldnt swap him for the world. My playmates usually end up being younger than me, its not planned that way. I had a lower age limit of 35 but last year i played with a guy of 28 so youngest was 28 eldest was 67 noone can accuse me of being ageist lol

We have only been playing 23 months, and I was 50 when we started. I will be 53 next month and wouldn't dream of lying on our profile about my age.

I work out regularly, and am comfortable with the way I look and feel.

I'm not bothered about the people who don't want to play with us, but care very much about the people who do

Absolutely... we would have to stop swinging soon if the upper age were 50....and we have no intentions of doing so.

Now it is a matter of the mind AND the body, I would argue... There are some very "unfit" people( By that I don't mean physical alone, I mean emotional lack of fitness and suitability for the lifestyle, I mean possessiveness, jealousy, lots of personal drama as an earlier posts mentioned and other issues..) and those people could be of any age...

Then there are some very stable, open , genuine and fun-loving hedonists who could be 70 .. While we have lower age limit of around 30 we dont really have an upper age limit... it is about the person
