Newcastle and Gateshead

actually this xmas because of work and weather I am on my own in newcastle... and I actually dont mind...

I do miss family but not to the extent that its ruin anything... and i only have to cook for one instead of twenty...

surely I am not to only person who feels this way...

I got D*unk as a Skunk last night so i feel no Pain, i have Bread, Marmite a Large Tin of old School Sweeties and 2 New Pratchett Books Downloaded so all is now good.

I had Bucks Fizz, canapé of king prawns and smoked salmon, having a liqueur coffee now, before I put the mini Camembert studded with garlic into the oven for my starter, to be eaten with toasted ciabatta.

Roast duck with all the trimmings to follow later.

On my own also due to work commitments Christmas is delayed till Saturday. I am dressed in my sexy Christmas underwear, silk robe and stockings. Enjoying some champagne and nibbles watching Christmas movies and excited to have sushi for lunch. Fab will be keeping me company and the bubbles keep me merry

I've done a few Christmases on my own and enjoyed them.

Volunteered one year looking after the elderly was finished by 3, went for a walk in Regent Park and had decent wine and nibbles when I got home. And it remains one of my favourite Christmas ever. I am very comfortable being alone and much happier alone than in forced social scenarios.
