A truly perplexing question...

Just what flavour is 'bubblegum' exactly? Like when you buy a 'bubblegum' flavoured soft drink or ice cream, and you get that syrupy sweet taste you identify as 'bubblegum'?

Also, are 'bubblegum' products light blue or pink?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

As bubblegum comes in different flavours and colours it's a bit like seeing things labelled "candyfloss" for colour and flavour.

Both really sweet, slightly chemical tasting and pink.

I disagree, because you can buy strawberry flavoured bubblegum!

"Both really sweet, slightly chemical tasting and pink.

So you're saying they call it 'bubblegum' because 'slightly chemical tasting and pink' flavour would sound unappealing?

Yes. Sweet, slightly chemical tasting pink thing doesn't sound as a appealing as "bubblegum" or "candyfloss".

That doesn't make sense because you can't MAKE a carrot, bubblegum is an unnatural flavour.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Apparently bubble-gum flavour is one of the ingredients from Pepto-Bismol.

And the colour too (or should that be color in this instance?).

Somewhere in North Norfolk

Don't know, but I like bubblegum flavour, whatever it is. Damn my tastebuds. I'm doomed.

A certain brand of chewing gum makes a flavour called "bubblemint". Now, wtf is that about?
