Lightly crushed/mashed with an equal amount of sweet potato, mix in a generous helping of double cream and season with nutmeg....

North Bristol

Fry off some finely chopped onion and garlic in lots of butter.

Add your carrots & plenty of freshly ground black pepper and stir well to coat the carrots.

Turn the heat down, cover the pan with a lid and leave, stirring occasionally, until soft.

My fave way to eat carrots.

East midlands

I do one of Jamie Olivers recipes. They're amazing!

Baton your carrots

Make a foil bag and add said carrots, juice of an orange, 1 tsp marmalade, salt n pepper, tiny bit of garlic and rosemary. Seal the bag and roast in the oven for approximately 1 hour. Shake the bag before serving.

Sooooo delicious!
