I was on the depo injection for 2 and a half years and then in june this year I switched to the rod.

Since being on the depo and then the rod, I've been getting headaches every day for the 3 last 3 years and been relying on painkillers.

I've been to see an oprthoptist and opticians and they have both said my eyes are perfectly healthy and I'm now convinced its the depo/rod.

Should I get the rod taken out?

Go see a medical professional something clearly isn't right and if it's the depo/rod then get the rod removed x

thank you yeah I think I'll ring the doctors tomorrow and see if I can get it taken out there and then as I have an interview on monday and don't want to be stuck with a headache as it makes me really moody and short with people. my sister who has the rod also has been bleeding since she got it put in, when it's to make periods less regular, I've only had 1 bleed x

I would go along with that you are going to get far better advice from a medical professional than on here. Hope you get it sorted soon too.
