Have you ever had the feeling a fellow forumite avoids you cos they think you are a stalker or something, I got that feeling right now, it could be that I'm just not that interesting lol but if anyone does find me a bit full on, I know I can be when I post loads, then firstly I apologise, I'm not here to make people feel uncomfortable, secondly, I am not perusing the site daily to find my next conquest, I'm here for a good time, to relax and see what happens, this is not a rant, I have said before, I take a no, as a no, and until someone tells me different it will remain a no, but that don't mean I won't be friendly, and chat, so please don't get me wrong, when I am being playful I mean no harm

To me a stalker would be someone who constantly looks at my profile or who keeps sending messages after I have said no or not replied the theirs

This forum is like any other, you get the people who read too much into things then go and spread bull shit about people they have never spoken to.

You will get the same anywhere, don't worry about it but keep your back against the wall around those types of people to prevent being stabbed in it.

It's very easy to look at the same profile more than once, especially on the forum if you want to relate something to their profile blurb or pics in different topics, so I shouldn't worry about it.

I did mean it in a light hearted way, not having a pop and I understand that, I don't think any of us are but at the same time is there any need to make someone feel worse?

The OP seems to be proud of the fact that he continues to message people once they have said "no". I also get the impression that he continues to message them on the forums.

I for one, consider a "no" to be the end of the matter. I don't want further communication from that person. Usually, I block people I have turned down, so messaging me on the forum to get around the block would be a serious breach of site rules.

Maybe the OP should stop whining about his good intentions and consider how the recipient of his attention feels!

I think there is a confusion here between a forum post and a pm, I am talking about the former, if I pm someone I don't on them again if....

They don't messge me back

Say thanks but no thanks

Or if a few messages have gone back and forth and they just come to an end

I'm far from needy or insecure, if that's what people think then fine I am feeling the happiest I have been in a long time, happy with being me, and if you think it's strange putting up a post about how I'm not a stalker, how would a thread title "best ways to stalk" go down ?

I was just thinking out loud, can if I want lol
