Totally agree, I worked with HM forces for 16 years. Army Marines and Navy. Also know quite a few that never returned.

the Military Awards always causes a lump in the throat and a tear in the eye. xx

Shame its hard for those guys and girls to find decent employment once they leave. My dad was in the army for years and couldn't find a decent job when he left.

Shame its hard for those guys and girls to find decent employment once they leave. My dad was in the army for years and couldn't find a decent job when he left."

My brother in law was lucky and got in a decent job after his left....there are many that don't find employment but it's getting better in terms of employment

Their Christmas messages to their families back home make me

I still have all my dads medals and dog tag... I also wear the cross he wore through the war... Little worse for wear now though.

I never look at any of my service medals and feel that im big or deserve them but i look at my brothers from the reg and feel proud every day.3para made us become diffent guys when we were just boys but love trust brotherhood came from us and what we went through together.BROTHERS FOREVER.
