Just read this article...... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-25402621

Would you buy a tablet pc that's only £30?

That's got to be too cheap.

I bought cheap android one that was £60 and it was terrible. Its cheap for a reason.

I read that article earlier. Its just meant to provide cheap internet access. And for the money I suppose it does that.

I did the opposite and brought and Ipad. Its an oversized Iphone. So, I wasted a lot of money.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I heard a R4 programme about the Aakash and the plans to roll out a commercial version here.

As a way of providing connectivity for some then it's to be welcomed. It will be what people make of it.

I have and iPad and if it broke I'd go out and buy another, I know Apple has it's haters, but I love it. Got mum a kindle HD Fire for her birthday and that's pretty good too, not tried many others but I've heard good things about the hudl too, great value for money.

I looked at quite a few tablets, trying them out before making my decision, and in the end bought an iPad mini. Not only do I use it for the Internet, emailing etc, but I use it for work as well. Not only does it do everything I need but it's reliable, portable, robust, and a very good quality built product. All round it suits me perfectly.
