I don't do anything Christmas day. Dad does the cooking his wife does the washing up (I'm not allowed since the terrible day I broke a posh wine glass thus ruining the set )

We share all year, the person working the shortest hours outside of home does the most inside. Works for us

Titz Towers, North Notts

I'll do the pots and my folk's house after dinner. Unless they've murdered me prior.

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

I live alone but we usually have a small gathering of family. We take it in turns. My turn this year and as my daughter will be staying over Christmas eve I will have help. It'll be my brother's turn next year. So it works out well.

my favourite saying is people will only treat you how you allow them to

go on strike he'll move when he's hungry

little house on the praire

If you let him get away with it he will do it. What with not helping and always hogging the remote control I'm glad I'm not married to him

in Lancashire

one of us is retired and the other one still works so one does the bulk of the domestic stuff..

even when both full time we shared as equally as we could do..

would never expect anyone to wait on the other, just seems so wrong but if that works for them who do hey ho..
