Read with astonishment we gave over 27 million in aid to china the worlds leading economy what the fuck is going on clearly we have excess money to give away charity begns at home.

Its one thing to help those in real need if we have the funds but this is taking the piss.

Use money for uk not countries that do not need it. Shameful.

You miss the point china does not need the money at all.

They have stakes in a lot of uk businesses as it is.

It's a funny one.

Vast swathes of China are sub-third world standard. The only reason China's economy was growing (it's apparently stalled now) is because they don't bother looking after two thirds of their own population. If the likes of European countries didn't do anything China would be very happy to let them all die. (after they had made enough iPhones of course)

If its a Bribe to win Contracts it goes to People not Countries so it really doesnt matter how Wealthy that Country is

All countries live on trade,if he uk didn't we would have nothing,as we hardly own much these days or build as we used to,without trade we would all be in the food banks,living in tents,eating hand to mouth,and looks like we are heading that way anyway.china isn't much better than the uk,forget there own.

Giving this kind of money is not for charity. It is to build build relationships with other countries. Look beyond the obvious. And in the scheme of things, 27 million is peanuts. Government has spent 500 million on introducing the universal credit scheme. That is expected to rise to well over 1 billion. I know which one I think is more of a waste of money.
