Do you feel that you are pretty much done with your personal growth and you will stay the same until you die?

..........

The end-of-history illusion is a ubiquitous psychological illusion in which teenagers and adults of all ages believe that they have consistently experienced significant personal growth and changes in tastes until now, but will somehow not continue to grow and mature in the future. That is, despite knowing how much they have changed in the last ten years, they believe that ten years from now, they will think and feel the same as they do today

In years to come people will laugh at how ridiculous most of psychology was.

No, as I am learning something new at least once a week by attending tap dance classes.

Also I have personal goals/projects/events that I have yet to achieve/experience.

I think everyone is individual and therefore entitled to develop at a pace reflecting their individuality within the construct of their social environment...

Yeah sumit like that anyway,,,

My intellectual, spiritual, emotional and physical growth are all important to me... Life will feel wasted if I felt like any aspect of me stopped.. A truly depressing thought!

A case in point, I worked out what is wrong with my shower panel and worked out how to fix it all by myself yesterday. Feeling rather chuffed with myself to be honest.

I hope not, but I do think the rate of change probably decreases? Sometimes as I look back at 'hard years and bad times', the only upside I can see is the personal growth they wrought.
