I really would like to know if this is a phenomonom na na nana lol to Liverpool only.

All the young male adults in Liverpool seem to start a sentence with the word lad !!! and then continue to say lad all the way thu their conversation,

Something like this.

Lad did you go out at the weekend lad !!!

the reply then goes something like

Lad yea had a great weekend lad went into town lad and was out till 7 lad !!!

Just wondered if this had spread to anywhere else yet,

As you know we scousers like to share lad

"thought scousers only said eh eh, calm down, calm down"

Probably because you are very poorly travelled and rely solely on media entertainments to supplement your demographic and cultural knowledge base. I can't remember every using that phrase.

The other one people think scousers say a lot is A A A , and that they wear shell suits and all have mustaches and curly hair and no one has any hub caps.......funnily enough, none of those are true either

little house on the praire

At least you dont live round here. My dad says ay up me duck every second word. Usually just me duck half way through a sentence. When my brother in laws parents met him (there from begium) asked my sister why he kept refering to a bird when he spoke. Another one they say here when greeting someone is ow do.

Ha ha good one poorly travelled mmm dont think so !!! and I would bet that I have travelled more of the uk than most people on here.

AS for media entertainments again I would hazard a guess that you see more of that medium than I do.

And as for you using that phrase forgive me but you are not a young male adult and to the best of my knowledge I have never heard a women use the phrase.

And if you havent heard it on your travels can I suggest you get out more lol
