How do you like yours?

After reading the forum title Mellow Mood, the first thing that popped into my head was Mellow Birds coffee. My nana always used to drink it as it was delicate. I really disliked it as I prefer a much more intense and deep flavour. With or without milk.

So all you who are partial to a coffee or two...

What is your favourite coffee, how do you like it and how is it made, e.g. machine, percolator etc?

Big fan of Azera... best instant, and of course the water is off the boil and milk in first

overall fave is a costa coffee decaf vanilla latte.

at home I've tried perculators, caffetieres etc but they're never quite right so I stick with kenco decaf instant coffee.

The nicest supermarket ground that I've tried is Aldi rich roast. I have mine quite milky but make it in a cafetiere. Guests often comment on how nice it is whether they have it black or white and it's really inexpensive.

I use my percolator at home, currently using Harrods signature blend. However, prior to this it was Illy. I love coffee and enjoy exploring various aromas and flavours so tend to try new brands rather than have a favourite. I sent one of my staff to get coffee for the staff room and they came back withn Maxwell House... horrible stuff!! From now on I get it myself

I think alot of people shop using the price tag... often buying something more expensive as they think this will be the better one. Sometimes they are right, other times not. Like swinging and most thibgs... its all about exploration and finding the one right for you. I prefer tesco value mushy peas for example! X

An Italian coffee for me, made in a percolator x if I'm going for instant or need a kick I have rocket fuel coffee lol

Every morning I make my 'rocket fuel' with Mellow Birds coffee, six brown sugar cubes and a third mug of whole milk... It does the job

Lol sounds good, there is a coffee brand called rocket fuel, which is super high in caffeine , oh I am partial to Starbucks iced double expressos too ... What can I say , I have a stressful job an need the caffeine to get me through lol

- Rocket Fuel, I must find it! I didn't mention my own canteen area filled with sugar and Nescafe Latte packets etc... Well, there's worse addictions, lol!

I buy the individual sachets for work an already has sugar and milk all in which is great and stops naughty work thieves stealing ur coffee!

It's a Bulletproof for me, otherwise known as a FatBlack.

One mug of hot coffee (I take mine decaf) into which butter and coconut oil is blended. An excellent breakfast and keeps the weight off.

Rarely and as a traditional latte - a jug of espresso and a jug of hot milk to mix to my own preference.

Chain coffee shop lattes are not accurate, some even have foam!!!

My Nan is 87 & I still have to buy her Mellow Birds - only coffee she'll drink. My Grandad used to make us Camp coffee too - not sure if that's still around !

Personally though, black strong coffee for me , but only one cup a day.

Its got to be a Lavazzo expresso in the main square at Siena poured over one scoop of vanilla ice cream (agrofreddo) spelling wrong I expect. But eaten/drank as the sun moves round the square absolute perfection!

We've done this. Siena is one of our favourite places.

As for coffee , just a strongish black one for me. I don't mind an espresso. Coffee shops confuse me though so I rarely frequent them.

About a desert spoon of each. Half fill the mug only before blending otherwise it will paper the kitchen. Take the blender out and pour over hot water to clean the blender and fill the cup.

I don't use the expensive stuff as I don't like the taste. I have a jar of KTC, not too expensive and still a good source of fat. If you want to just use butter, that's fine.
