U go to get ur tests at the GUM clinic always the longest! Lol

Went to my local clinic this week just for a routine mot and finally admitted to being a swinger! Nurse was really cool about it and just showed interest in the local club I attend, just have to wait again now grrrrr

There's been a rise in the older generation contracting STI's I think everyone who has more than one partner or is starting with just one should get tested x

Well I think it's important to get it done as do many others and like to share an experience that might just make others who r scared to go for a first time, I know the first time I was terrified and after 3 years I finally admitted to swinging which just makes it so much easier

One reminder, less risk! Go get swabbed people, I had throat swabs this time too!

The local clinic is the only one in my health trust, it's a 2 week wait!!

It only takes a week for my results to come through. I go every 3 months now, just to be on the safe side. And the nurses don't bat an eyelid while I'm sitting there trying to remember what I did when and with who.

Last time I went the nurse asked the usual questions then when I mentioned swinging asked if I always played safe. When I replied 'with everyone but one person' she asked if that person knew about my activities.

Told her that she bloody well should do as she was in the next room with the other nurse!

And in addition to the full works and swabs mentioned above it's generally advised by nurses to get the hep B jabs as soon as you mention swinging. Well worth doing!

last time I went, he gave the the HIV test, then spent about 10 mins explaining that getting AIDS and HIV was not the death sentence it used to be.....

I was shitting myself for about 10 mins after whilst I was waiting for the results. Negative BTW

I go regulary to my family planning clinnic and both the doctor and the nurse I see there know that I am on a swingers site... In fact the doctor is always intrigued, even asked me what site it was, so it wouldn't surprise me if she pops up in my search box one day haha
