Not very good. I've been using a keyboard for too long.

But surely you learnt to write before you learnt to type?

My handwriting used to be be neat but prolonged use of keyboards has taken its toll. If I concentrate and take time I can get it back to what it was...

I pride myself on my penmanship, I also get my daughter to write to me once a week and get her to post the letter to me and I write back, she only lives down the road but letter writing is a dying art.

I depends what I'm writing and my mood.

A shopping list is usually scrawled whereas letters are usually neat and readable.

I used to have pretty bad handwriting, not unreadable but it looked scruffy and was a frequent matter of debate between my mother and I.

I now have proper teacher writing which is very neat and my joined up writing is by the book lol

this is very true .... i have spent so many years working in an environment where everything you write has to be in capital letters only .... i really struggle after 40 years of this to do joined up writing.... and i feel very embarrased about it too

Mine is appalling. My best mate, though, he has beautiful copper plate stylish handwriting that I can't read due to all the loops, scrolls and flourishes

In Your Bush

Absolutely shocking. My brain has forgotten how to make my hand do it.

Years ago, I worked in a job which required me to write in capital letters. This continued in my normal life out of habit. Then since the keyboard, I hardly ever write with a pen and I really struggle to do it neatly now

It's to do with fine motor control. If you don't do it much for a while your hand will get tired faster when you do because the muscles aren't used to it.
