Have you ever recieved a gift from someone who is just a fuck buddy. If you have how did it make you feel. A fuck buddy id been seeing a couple of years bought me a big box of chocolates for my birthday one year but thats only because he was seeing me the same week so i didnt think anything of it.

I have my own rules about fuckbuddies.

I never go out for a meal with them

Id never want gifts(unless a token gift b/d or christmas

Never go out socially with them unless its to a swingers party.

I'm looking for a small group to see now and again, they will be fuck buddies and hopefully we will maybe socialise first on occasions ie a meal but 2 of mine bought me gifts; one was chocolates for my birthday and the other brought a bottle of wine, i aint gonna turn them down. However, maybe they have become more than fuck buddies, possibly fwb's?

Think my problem is im a bit clinical. The guys ive been seeing for ages im really fond of and good friends as well but maybe for me i need to cut it of so it doesnt interfer with my day to day life. As long as they understand that it doesnt move the relatinship on from fuck buddy then where is the harm

I've had chocolates and wine bought for me before but then we've devoured them together so that's fine lol.

I did buy my "friend" a few novelty christmas presents which went down very well and yet again we used them together.

I wouldn't be adverse to receiving gifts though if they're appropriate and as someone said earlier, are on the understanding that it doesn't change the arrangement we have.

I don't have an issue with meals / meeting socially with the two or three guys I meet most often either.

My ex-FB brought me a pack of beers after I hinted he could contribute towards drinks and nick nacks etc. when he came to stay for the weekend.

I won't accept presents as it wouldn't feel right. I even keep quiet about birthdays as i would feel uncomfortable receiving things but thats me.

Me too! they were beside the bottles of wine he'd bought!

Next meet he'd sent me flowers!! Love it

Tend to think of my friends as fwb - and as I often cook for them (do like to spend time with my fwb) if they bring wine, or take me out now and again, don't see anything wrong at all!!

I prefer have and use the term 'Fuck Buddies'.... after all the sex is generally the primary reason we are buddies... but buddies they tend to become nevertheless. A buddie to me is a friend. I would accept from and buy gifts for a non-fuck buddy, so why not the ones I fuck. Well that's my take on it.

PS... it doesn't mean I rush out and but prezzies for everyone I fuck.

Presents! Hm... difficult and easy at the same time. We don't do presents in the conventional way ..we rather surprise people... swingers and on swingers... friends.... with spontaneous things, could be a gift, could be a meal... whatever.... We don't look at it as a formal conventional matter... more like a spontaneous sign of affection?
