... the mobile phone network provider.

Been with them since 2004 and never any issues.

On my return from the Far East recently, I discovered I had been charged 8.00 GBP while I was out there, resulting in a bill that is more than twelve times the usual amount, despite having bought one of their travel data bundle in advance.

Although they are looking into this for me already, I raised my concerns this evening about not having suffient fund to cover the full amount when it is due to be paid via direct debit in a few days' time, the nice gentleman at Orange arranged for the DD to be cancelled for the time being while the bill is under investigation.

One big load off my mind, so thank you Orange!

no matter

They were always good with great coverage. I left them to go to three because they couldnt match the deal I have now.

£15 2000 mins unlimited texts and unlimited data plus tethering.

I hope you get it sorted tho did you mean to say £8.00 ?

I meant to say 8.00 GBP per MB of data, and allegedly, I used nearly 60MB of data while I was out there!!!

Hence I was shocked when I saw the bill!!!

I dared not ask them to provide a breakdown of my roaming usage, as a big chunk was spent browsing FAB!!!

I moved to Orange when I moved house as I couldn't get any reception with O2. I don't like them at all. Text messages take ages to send (they were instant on O2), and I've only just got Visual Voicemail, years after O2 had it. I'll be moving back to O2 ASAP.

I was with Vodafone many years ago (and an ex employee) but ported my number to orange, I have never looked back, excellent customer service and coverage, never had a reason to complain.

Kent

I've never used orange for my phone but their home broadband service was bloody awful!!!!

Glad they put it on hold while it gets sorted though, saw a programme on tv a while back where a lady got a bill from t mobile whilst abroad for over a thousand pounds and she had turned her data roaming off so she couldn't even get on the internet while away, they weren't very forthcoming in trying to rectify it!

Same thing happened to me, over 200.00 - they wrote it off.
