Already lost a 1/3 of it work force needs to cut 1000 more jobs on top of the 7000 already cut

it needs to save 840 million between now and 2018

Their leader has stated that they may not be able to pay for their statutory services !

This is extraordinary !

Once again the most vulnerable will be affected !

Unfortunately, this government has had to introduce severe financial cuts in local authority budgets hence the cut in services that affects everyone - so in this respect we ARE all in it together.

Really ?

So when there's cuts to frontline services . Social care . Vulnerable groups at severe risk . At least our books are balanced . We can then afford to give Bulgarians and Romanians access to well deserved benefits after 12 weeks !

I get we need to do something I'm not completely ignorant like you may suggest or think

But surely you can see how these cuts are so wrong

And while all this is going on our MP's are getting a massive pay rise that normal every day folk would never see in a lifetime

Wake up and smell the coffee !

Or is it roses ?

It will be interesting to see their audits of how they spend peoples council tax etc....because according to a fella on the telly, the only thing taxpayers in brum will get is their bins emptied...and childrens services.

and who gave us a bloated civil service, and gave them very generous wages and terms n conditions?

the mp's didnt give themselves a payrise, an independent body did, and yes its wrong, totally, absolutely disgusting, personally, however, i would pay them 100k a year, make the job fulltime, their only job and abolish expenses, but rome wasnt built in a day.

it still stands, Labour run the country into the ground because they were ignorant of the warning signs of what was coming, as were many governments around the world.

too busy buying votes with generous wages and benefits for all.
