What would you do to the football cheats!!!

Personally I'd string them up naked from the crossbar and let fans take penalties at their bollocks xxxxx

Far too much money !

Get a real job !!!

Rant over x

Are we talking the cheating bastards that are involved in match fixing or the ones that every week are diving, rolling around on the floor as if they've been shot, putting their hands up to claim a throw in / corner when they know full well that they have just kicked the ball out and so on?

"Lol ur winding me up lol xxx "

im actually not so much.

the money may be ridiculous in the upper echelons of the game, but the lower leagues and non league the wages are actually quite modest.

think some of the players at one of our local clubs (shrewsbury) are on something like £500 a week.

and everyone is in uproar about an albion trainee being on £850, and seeings as this is where it seems to be rife, then they need to earn anough that they arent tempted into it.

i mean £500 a week is £26k a year, so with just that 1 incident, Sam Sodje would have earned 3 years wages.

Do players in lower leagues have other jobs though?

And the players in the papers today all on good money!!! Gits lol xxxx

Honesty ! If they worked anywhere else they'd be sacked and rightly so x shame on em x

Ban the player for life and warn other players in advance they'll get the same if caught.

With all the money they have gained. Give it to someone who actually needs it and give the player a fine on top of that.

Personally I'd show them all the red card. Oh wait......

saddly this involves a player from my team and from the video hes bang to rights club have rightfully suspended him without pay and cant in all honesty see him ever being allowed to play in any form of the sport ever again . was shocked at first to be honest but not surprised that it has happened as someone says wages in the lower leagues are not that much above the national average so the temptation is there . his carreer is effectively over at the age of 21 and with a young family to feed with no income large legal bills on the horizon and a possible prison term looming hes fucked .hes let his club team mates and fans down his performance if you can call it that in the game concerned was abysmal and now we fans know why those same fans who had taken time off work and paid to travel and get into the game must be feeling very very let down . i think he will receive the biggest punishment from his fellow professionals and fans and that is being shunned .

"It isn't match fixing though is it, isn't it betting on yellow and red cards ?"

it is match fixing in my eyes when someone pays you 30 K to agree to get a yellow card in the first half of a game

isnt it ? the player concerned spent the entire first half trying to get a booking therefore not playing his normal game as his mind was elsewhere . there were several occasions when he could have passed the ball forward to better placed players but instead he chose to run or dawdle with the ball to draw opponents in so that he could get a booking from the resulting challenge .does that not affect the final result of the game ?

Its like saying you get paid £500 a week and then committing fraud against your bosses for a some amount of time what would you do if you were their boss in this situation? Sack them instantly and take them to court to get your money back and make sure they don't work in the industry again.

"Lol ur winding me up lol xxx "

they have a point...

remember the people being targeted aren't the people in the top games... its the people at the bottom... conference 1 and 2....

at that level a lot of the teams are part time, so they aren't making money

Frazier Campbell was caught and he's a premiership player and was earning decent money at man united. Then he went to Cardiff who have been in the championship for years and finishing high in the table too. So his wages are more than £500 I would imagine.

5-6 year old girls wear skates and a lot of padding to protect themselves. Plus at school how many male hockey teams do you know? I know there's none in my area. There's a lot of female ones maybe

I'm struggling to see logic in your comparison you're comparing two different sports in order to make your point.

Hockey is one of the few remaining gentlemen sports where players can sell their differences on the eyes before continuing the game and all players shake hands as a sign of respect at The end of each game.

As for the skates and padding, don't footballers wear studded boots to stop them slipping? And I would love to see the reaction of a footballers reaction to a full body collision at 30+ mph.

And my closing argue meant is that sports like ice hockey and rugby are played by men and women proud of their sport. Football is played by little boys cheat on their wives and is controlled by a set money obsessed charlatans.

I'd reconsider why I put so much of my time into watching a load of overpaid ponces run round a field kicking a ball.

But that's just my opinion.

if hockey was any good, it would go exactly the same way.

there have been these kind of things surrounding the north american hockey circuit for years.

dont think just because its still to a greater extent, and underground sport, here doesnt mean it doesnt have corruption and cheating.

you need your head lookign at if you really do think that

Oh I totally agree with and tbh pretty much every sport has it's share of bad eggs, I just don't understand why people still idolise the sport when the balance between professionalism and controversy is as bad as it is.
