It doesn't matter how 'artistic' I am, the decorations on the tree still look as though I chucked em from the other end of the room.....bah humbug..

What artist were you hoping to emulate? You could always say it's the Jackson Pollack approach.

I had to re-do the blimming garland after it was finished. Sat on the sofa admiring my handiwork, and then spotted that there were 12 fairie lights on the right half, and 18 on the left. I am not anal about things, but this was so obviously out of kilter... Grrrr.

After fiddling with all the bulbs to find the one that wasn't working I put some lights up on the mantel and mirror, carefully garlanding some fragile decorations.

Now another bulb has gone and they've gone out Ffs they've only Bernard up three hours!

I'm not doing any at all. No one visits me over Christmas so over the years I have stopped putting up a tree and decorations.
