musical education costs a lot of money even with downloads nowadays. elo was underrated ditto pixies just like the stones who were and are better than the Beatles. much like blur to their oasis. i think all Stephen Merricks stuff is underrated

Elo were a great band I dont know why u would think they were underrated though given how successful they were in album and singles sold and sold out concerts

Not sure their level of success can really be classed as under-rated? Commercially successful pre and post reformation. Generally acknowledged as a groundbreaking iconic band who along with Janes Addiction paved the way for the success of bands like nirvana and pearl Jam

being over 55 my listening goes back to the swinging sixties and i recall bloody good bands that never quite got the acclaim their music deserved,two in particular are "the pretty things" formed by an ex-rolling stones founder dick taylor may they played dirty,raunchy r&b like the stones used to play but brasher moving onto psychdelia.

Another under rated band is R&B mod band "the action" who were regarded as better than the who in some quarters,fantastic motownesque harmonies and according to modfather paul weller lead singer reg king was the best ever white soulsinger!.

Same here. Still with its poster and free pop out UFO insert. A classic album.

Bands like The Chameleons, Goodbye Mr Mackenzie and Frozen Autumn are vastly under rated. All very original in their styles. Some of the Goth bands too. Fields Of The Nephilim and The Mission have made some excellent albums which never receive the credit they deserve.

M also likes Babylon Zoo. A cracking first album.

F likes Cher. Yes exactly.

. ELO are a massive band, pretty much up there with any of that generation as far as album Sales and success go, so I wouldn't class them as underrated at all.
