Butter, plus any of the following:

Marmite

Gentleman's Relish

Smooth peanut butter

Peanut butter and strawberry jam

However, one of my favourite comfort foods is toast with mayo on its own, the toast is cool to touch so that it does not melt the mayo.

And it has to be white bread, or 50/50, never brown or wholemeal.
