I understand people may not want to meet for one reason or the other. However, they say they have friends on the site. If they are such good friends they would contact them via facebook? Twitter etc. So, why do they feel the need to post we not meeting at the moment. I find that rather uneccesary. Its like they want to be part of the site but part not. If you dont want, dont post.....Just an issue with me. Pam

Im not meeting at the mo but i like the forums should i leave because i don't want meets or am i allowed to stay and state it for the few that do read profiles so as not to waste their time in mailing me?

Why look for a couple just at the weekend? Because it suits you. Many use this site how they want to use it, be it socially, chatting to friends, on cam or in the forum. Personal preference and freedom of choice...

Not everyone has Face Ache plus some of us like to keep this side of our lives separate to any other social site's we may (or may not) be on

We are all allowed to use this site as we wish. I dont meet very often so does that mean I should only log on once a month

I never understand why people get so judgemental on how others choose to use this site!!

This is my facebook, lol can't stand facebook or want other friends posting things that could affect family or work life.

I also find it slows messages down and more get more genuine messages

But I don't care / think / worry about it, the site should be used how the individual wants as long as not causing harm to any one else

I am not meeting at the moment for reasons I do not wish to discuss, however I do enjoy reading and commenting in these forums.

I can't actually believe this would be an issue to anyone, does it say somewhere in the fab handbook that people have to be meeting people to be a part of the site ? I think that'll be a no then.

We aren't meeting at the moment due to me (jack) having had a operation, and I've put that on our profile the reason being is so it saves people time writing us a message when we have no intention of meeting. However when I'm fully fit We shall want to return to swinging, hopefully the sooner the better We miss Chams!

Sometimes people want to take a break for meeting.

There are so many reasons! It's their choice. They don't actually have explain their decision.

Many have made good friends on here. Whom they would like to stay in touch with.

We will be not looking for meets very soon... I don't feel the need to explain why?

Although our profile when we don't meet is also usually hidden.

Stated in my profile "not meeting at the moment" (in title and in profile: i meet only in spring..

) but still received messages asking for meets...so i just hide my profile for now.

Friends can still message and gain access to my pics, and we do keep in touch through chat in fabs chatroom.

I have real life friends on this site and using this forum.

Admitted many times pm's/texts and what not go round re the forums (things that cant be said on the forum without landing us all on the naughty step) and also we chat & keep in touch away from the site also but it's good to see what is said on the forums even if I'm not, or my friends arn't; looking for nsa at that time.

For me personally. Swinging is as much social as it is meeting, this forum is just an extension of that social aspect

I actually don't see what all the fuss is about. If people concentrated on how they used the site and not how others choose to use it I'm pretty sure it would be a more enjoyable experience for them. If you read a profile that doesn't suit or get a message/friends request/ wink that doesn't suit then ignore and move on blocking if you feel the need.

You never know by doing just that and not posted threads about things you have no control over you may just find something that does suit you.

And just to add people moaning about people moaning is soooooooo not a good look so I'm off to hide.

we have not meeting at the moment on our profile as we don't have the free time over Christmas and New Year. We put it up so anyone contacting us are not disappointed that we won't meet next weekend. First weekend in January we will take it off again. We don't know anyone on fab that we would also have on Facebook - two very different things. Why are we on now? Because 4 weeks off is no time at all and we can still make plans xxx

Perhaps people who make comments like that are the ones who should move on to other sites, ye know cheap dating sites used purely for sex chat and quick fuck meet ups

This is a social site hense why it has a chat room and forums specifically for discussions
