The loss of my friends owl today 1993-2013, she was 20 years old and she was blind, she was a beautiful barn owl. My friend is picking her ashes up tomorrow and keeping them in an urn. i took some white roses to him today and he has placed them in a vase where she used to be

I'm hoping to get my own one day, but this was a real big shock for me as I saw her 2 weeks ago and she looked perfectly fine

Try not to fret, it's all part of life. I think your friend's owl did quite well for that age.

We live in the country and occasionally I wake up during the night to hear the owl hooting in a tree in our garden. I'm sure the numbers are on the increase.

xx

Yeah definitely! I know they can live 20-25 years in a safe environment and I'm glad she lived till she was 20. oh wow that sounds amazing but I bet it's a bit annoying when you want to sleep lol xx
