I turned my s3 off earlier this evening due to it having a low battery. When i went to turn it on it oh so kindly told me my sd card was either blank or had corrupted files. I had all my pics and music on it and now just have a few pictures and some music on it. This happened with my old xperia and i took it to carphone warehouse and they restored everything for a charge of £5. Im hoping this can be the case again fingers crossed

it tends to be cheap sd cards at fault. Not the Samsung.

does your phone not automatically connect to the cloud to back everything up? I'm on samsung and mine does it even when I tell it not to

just out of interest. When you originally set the phone up. Did you click the option to sync account with Google. As you might find out you backed it up that way

You can download recovery software for things like this however it is always easier to make sure you back your important things up. I have list important photos of my daughters before now and that was all I had left of them. Hope you get them back x
