Is there a limit on things you would do for your kids, irrespective of there age?

My son has asked me to do him a favour but not sure who will be more embarressed. Him or me.xx

If we are talking about only legal things - yes, I would most likely do anything.

No I wouldn't do 'anything'. There are limits, and I'm trying to bring them up to understand what and why those may be.

He is 22yrs old & has said he has an ingrowing hair. He isn't close to his dad & has asked me to get it out. My problem is the hair is just behind his testicles by his bum hole.

I would do it , ad daft as it might sound he would still be my baby and if he is hurting I would do anything to stop it.

Id be the same but its good he feels he can ask you. Not sure what id do but if you feel you cant do it, perhaps he would go to his gp?

I deal with these things everday in my job. be matter of fact about it. Tell him to use a towel to cover his bits and get that bloody hair out lol. there is no shame in any of it. if you both feel uncomfortable then book him in at the docs to see a nurse. x

No this is serious, his sister said she would do it as she is a nurse, but his answer was "I'll get mum to do it".

I will do it, after all like it was said, he is still my little boy and it is causing him agony.

And if like it was said, he gets a boner I am still his mother and he'd get a clout. LOL xx

I did laugh when he asked, he was embarressed to ask but he's in agony. Bless him, I said go to GP but he doesn't fancy that as he is a huge guy with a beard & a little scary looking. LOL xx

Completely agree secondary infections etc. Could be he needs antibiotics etc especially where it is. It depends on how long he's had it.

an ingrowing hair is common and bloody painful, if not removed can lead to a week in hospital till the cavity heals from the inside out, I wish I still had my mum to do it, now I have to ask the woman next door

I think I would do anything for my kids.

My son had a circumcision recently so haven't looked and dressed his willy so many times in a week period. The hours I cuddled him as he cried over the pain. I wish I could have taken the soreness from him. He is 12

He's at work at the moment, I will do it and I'm sure he won't get a boner. He's not into pain.

He's only had it a few days so nothing major at the moment just painful. Sterile tweezers and antiseptic at the ready... My poor little man. xx
