"Its lovely.. The jays are my favorite they hop along the fence come down for peanuts and bury them in the leaves under the magnolia . the tits and wren are in and out the aviary picking up bits from the parrot feed. the black bird dance around the pond and bath in a dustbin lid. squirels and foxes too . The red tailed kites overhead. we are very lucky. Hardly see any starlings now nor sparrow. Very occasionally we get a thrush but not as much as years ago. " You're very lucky to have the red kites - none around here, but we have plenty of other garden visitors - we get deer, badgers, and a multitude of foxes, all of whom are growing up from the big family of cubs that used our garden as a playground in the spring. We can recognise at least five of them from their markings. Died mealworms and shredded suet get a greater variety of birds than just the standard seed. | |||
