Getting all festive

I know it maybe early for some if you and irritating for some.... But I'm really looking forward to Xmas this year... It's been a while since Iv felt this way. I'm putting up the tree today... Are you a traditional red, gold and green or......?

I'm looking forward to it this year too. Had a couple of nightmare ones but this year it seems better. I want to get new decorations so no idea what we'll get yet. Might put them up next weekend.

Mine is white with black, silver, clear and hint of pink baubles.

I think colour schemes are a bit posh.

We go for multi coloured and just throw it on the tree - love it

I'm just about to glitter-up the advent calendar. Why are they all chocolate ones these days? I liked the ones with a glittery picture on the front, and lovely little xmas pics inside the doors.

Yes to be honest I miss the old fashioned picture ones sometimes.

Haha do you not have a lift miss cheeky? My place is small but lucky to have a lift and a shed.

Loving hearing all the different xmasy things

We do that. We have so much we run out of branches to put it all on.

lilly and rosie our 2 westies are feeling very festive today, the dog treat advent calendars Ali bought them are now gone including most of the packaging , that's what we get for popping upstairs for a quickie earlier

V let the kids loose on theirs the other year, so they felt involved.

after they went to bed, she was up until 4am stripping it and doing it 'properly' lol

I went down to my parents and she awful at doing the tree....so off I go tomo to re-do it! ha

Thanks, I'll try and remember for next year. Just finished manually glittering our Lidl one - the cats helped, and now look very festive

that's why we have 2! One in the play room that the kids decorate With all sorts Including the decorations they have made (we make some new ones each year) and a grown up real one with colour scheme to go with the decor in another room.
