Found an email in my inbox this morning - from a friend who introduced me to non-vanilla life. Problem is, his idea of enjoyable sex is so far removed from mine, that I struggled long months to find my own balance in this world.

He invited himself for 10 days before xmas. Full of rape fantasies. He doesn't like kissing, doesn't hold close unless it's to force me down. My pleasure is of no importance to him.

Rather be alone. So I wrote back that as a friend he's good company, but as a lover he lacks thoroughly. I know I have put up with it for a bit, but I didn't know about boundaries, and was eager to please.

I now know what I want, and won't find it with him.

So that's my christmas sorted - just me, and peace and quiet.
