Language evolves - spiffing, fab, groovy, bad, wicked, sweet etc all mean pretty much the same as sick, but from different eras.

A couple of decades ago 'bad' meant good. Sick has taken its space, now sick means good.

I think yous right, its sic as its text speak and that uses less letters.
