These guys seem to be masters at the sledging game, however, the best riposte was from Ian Botham.

An Aussie player asked him, "How's your wife and my kids."

Botham retorted, "The wife is the fine but the kids are retards. "

One of the Waugh brothers was giving someone stick say how he shouldn't be playing for his country. And he got back ' I might not be the best player in the team but at least I'm the best cricketer in my family' lol

One of the best quips ever was from viv Richards. The great mr Richards had played and missed a couple of times outside off stump which prompted the bowler, I forget who, to shout at him, " it's red and it's round, try to hit it!" Viv then hit the next delivery straight out of the ground and said to the bowler, "you know what it looks like, try to find it!"

I did hear in a radio interview with an english cricket player saying 'Aussie's have no culture, but that would almost be classed as sledging'
