Nope!

Guess it might be different if they were going to give you the results instantly - but as it's just another of the tests I don't give it a second thought!

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I have to have regular blood tests and I get it done along with the rest. I'm more concerned about my blood being sticky than it showing positive for HIV.

I liked your "carful" - how big is the car?

Being diabetic that's the only bit that doesn't worry me, what with 4 needles a day

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

The first HIV test I had back in the late 80s and it took 3 weeks for the results. A few days is much better.

I tend to forget about the tests once I've had them. Just a necessity really.

I forgot about how nervous I was about the first one I had back on the early 90s. I'd had a blood transfusion before they were screened and I used a cap back in the 80s.

Yeah, i do get nervous just sitting there and waiting to get the tests done. I'm okay once they start the tests...but then it's the waiting game. Which makes me nervous again although I always play safe.

...erm can i ask something that may sound a bit naive?

Can I just ask how you know you are clear before you get your results?

Oh yeah. I forgot to follow this up lol

..how comes there's no 'oral' tests that's usually done? well, not to me anyway. All they do is poke me with a pin and take a urine sample.

A lot keep mentioning that oral sex is equally as dangerous. And, erm - i love oral. And i mean, giving it a lot!

Ask for a mouth swab as well next time you go.

You are unlikely to get anything more than thrush unless you have cocks in your mouth but always best to check. Also don't have oral immediately after brushing your teeth or eating crisps or other abrasive foods.

I worry every time I go for a mammogram (once a year). Blood tests don't scare me as I know I am doing all I can to protect myself. But regarding breast cancer I feel totally at the mercy of chance so all I can do is have the puppies checked on a regular basis.
